Following are a few tips on how to promote your Facebook fan page offline. Yup, I said offline, a method all too often forgotten.

You first need a unique URL to promote. If you have enough fans already and have been able to name your fan page, you can simply use facebook.com/pagename (replacing pagename with the name of your page).

If you still haven't been able to name your page, you could register a domain name like businessnameonfacebook (again replacing businessname with your business' name) and forward it to your Facebook fan page.
